A cup of tea and cake in the office does everybody alot of good... courtesy of our Italian colleague who's returning.

It was dinner at Jon's... with his NUS team mates and Korean counterparts.

One girl used a damn profound four-letter chinese word to describe the sumptous spread of food... and it goes sth like this "man han quan xi" {i think} Jon and i were like "huh?" and i felt so useless...

Then we had fruits + agar agar an chilled with the chinese superstar program.

I'm sorry... but i find it so totally boring and ridiculous.

The girls cant even carry a decent tune.... they are so fucking ugly... they speak like bimbos...

and...

and...

and jon and i, together with his korean friends, took a breather at the swimming pool.

Plus.... why should i be interested in sth that cant teach me anything... their contest doesnt even involve my life... and it doesnt even make an impact on my well-being.

Ok... i just dont know how to enjoy. and im too impatient to sit in front of the bloody screen.

p/s: I dont even enjoy the American Idol.

Jason has finally reached the states for his next education chapter in the renown Cornell.

This brought me another realisation...

"hey! I've stopped feeling upset about why i wasnt as fortunate to be studying now/ wasnt hardworking enough to qualify for any top JCs like Raffles and Hwa Chong"

Bloody SRJC wasnt enough to give me pride... so i couldnt take it... so that's partly why i left for mass comm 1 month later. The chinese almost killed me also la. and i hated the econs teacher... she questions too much and we frequently quarrel. She loved telling on me... to the stupid form teacher... like as if i cared if he had a bad impression of me.

I guess it's too bad i knew my rights too young... and that's why i ticked off so many teachers since primary school. hahah...

All my good friends are overseas and doing very well... im the only one left behind to work. Even charles is going UK once he ORDs to realise his lawyer dream.

instead... i've justified it with a fulfilling life + a discovery of my niche.

When asked, some friends have yet to make that life-determining decision. That takes time.

In the past, i used to fault my background, not learning what good it could bring me.

I know now that: well, if i cannot gain from it, i learn that it is not for me. and that's a good way to eliminate choices.

Remorse slapped me when he was complaining to me about how his selfish course mate pushed him down to the second place, in terms of results, in his cohort.

I thought "damn it! I wonder how much more i could have achieved if i had the same passion as i do now"

All i can recall is how we used to compete our english... and other subjects too.

He was on a government scholarship... and me? nothing! sigh....

Colleagues went shopping for sunglasses after i bought mine.
One bought his fifth Oakley pair....
while the other bought a maroon GioGio Armani...
so exciting!!!

She was so excited she wore it for a while against the computer. ha...

there's another nice one from Salvatore Ferragamo...
but i'd pass. Im faithful to my Burberry.

No.
Wait.
Look at me.
Listen to my mind.
It's speaking to you.
Tell me you comprehend.
Tell me you will twig.
My words shall never cease to exist.

i tried to control my tears
