Happy Birthday Jon!!!
I know you wouldnt be able to see this on your birthday...
and you wouldnt even be able to hear me say this over the phone.
Blame the Commandoes la.
Stupid outfield training... next time when you go shooting sessions, heck abt the money la... just shoot the people.
It's 2321 and im so tired... so this post can be rather nonsensical.
I ended work at 2200 just now... but left the office happy!
If you're put in a comfortable environment, you really wouldnt mind long working hours, would you?
Im loving the company more every day... and everyday seems just too short to fully enjoy it.
Of course... i love the location too {cept there's no affordable lunch. im not abt to spend $20 on lunch alone!}... the place is very quiet... and filled with ang mo's... now, before you label me an SPG, let me explain myself.
I detest places like Lau Pa Sat and that whole CBD area... not only cuz it's congested... but it;s littered with uncouth chinese kia su creatures. Coincidentally, chinese are more often than not, such people... somehow. If Chinese were to behave, i would love them too... but no. let's face reality. and lunch IS a break from work; a time you have a peace of mind. But with those irritaitng people, it is near impossible. After lunch, you return to office not revitalised... but lazier than ever.
After our 3-hour plus meeting, my boss {feels weird calling him that cuz we call him by first name} took few of us for dinner at a nearly Italian restaurant, Mama Lucia.
He owns a yellow BMW... he shared that his car colour was a misunderstanding when he was joking with the mechanic. then i told him "If i have a car, i want it orange. Bright orange!" and his immediate response was "Yes! That's the colour im changing my car to. It's been 3 years and i need a change" Wah... i also want to change colour so often. But wait la... i must first get a car.
When i asked him about Fann Wong being his neighbour, he only said Christopher Lee was good-looking. then i asked "Fann Wong is gorgeous too, isn't she?!". His only reply "Yes... she is really a beautiful skeleton." and went on to suck his cheeks while dangling his hands, like as thou he was lanky.
Funny la he...
HELP!!! Im suffocated man.
4 books X 3 languages = 12 books
1 20-paged brochure
1 personal journal
14 books to publish!!! By end of this year... Im gonna die as a writer i tell ya. and we're still at the contents-to-include-and-what-not-to stage. 5 months to churn out 12 books, 1 20-paged brochure, and assist in 1 personal journal.
And what's more is this what i have to produce these:
1 Calendar
1 Christmas card
In less than a months time, im gonna be the only Corporate Communications person in the office.
God... pls see me through this.
and yes, look out for my name/ picture/ resume on the company web site.
