My 'Singapore-like' image of KL has finally been rectified....
Years ago when i went with mum, it was all clean and classy... so mum told me that's how KL was like.
In retrospect... think we were stayin in the prime district in a 4-star hotel la.
Mild culture shock when i touched down... and some lodging houses were really poky and filthy... as seen from Rach's.
I thank Jon that ours wasnt in such pathetic condition.
Shopping there can be rather insane... with the bazzare shaved prices. But i did not benefit much from it since i thought most things there were substandard.
So i settled for 2 pairs of shoes each about SGD 40... and some tops from TANGS STUDIO... and 2 bottoms from TANGS STUDIO and a FILA bag.
It was quite a snatch!
thou they were the price of that in Singapore... but i didnt see any of those in singapore. So it's still good.

Food's good.... cuz it's cheap! Err... k la... i meant the restaurants when i said that. The hong kong noodle restaurant serves good food while the pizza hut is damn cheap. And how can i forget the italian food? Well.... we went to an italian restaurant named l' Opera in the city for dinner... {it was a good getaway from the malays! and into the ang mos} and the food was good too! And one can be filled with just $60! Singapore's would cost at least 100 man {with same quality} *rolls eyes*

The journey there with Luke {her bf} was hilarious. We stopped at nothing to mock Malaysia's english... or was it malayu?
The bus companies became the butt of our jokes... especially KONSORTIUM.
He said "Wa.... must have stylo stylo name ah... but must spell wrongly" and we both burst.

Our payback time:
At one of the stop-overs, we took our time in the loo, walked ard the minimart, and then bought drink, sat at the stone bench in front of the line of buses and pointed to KONSORTIUM and our stupid ENJOY bus and crack stupid jokes, thinking there was still lotsa time. When we decided to return to ENJOY, everyone threw daggered eyes... and the bus left.
Luke said under his breath "OMG. We were the last ones! And we were still laughin at them!"
and well... guess what? we were late for the next 2 stopovers too!

Oh yes... he's currently planning an arts exhibition... which he asked if i was interested to help out. Yes! Yes! Yes! Im damn excited abt it la.

Cameron was quite disappointing thou... but we stayed at a cottage-style chalet. http://www.balaschalet.com/ I kinda recommend any readers staying there if you dont mind the rather steep price. But no food there la... it's ordinary and cost an arm. Imagine a cup of milo costing $8! I might as well stay in Rasa Sentosa.

But the coach back was even cooler... with meals provided and a steward and a massage chair and a personal television and only about $60!

Im sure everyone's excited for pictures... well, at least i hope so... so visit them at Jon's www.blackbistro.com

PS: Sorry this entry is so slipshot. Im really tired and i wanna zonk. But still.... i just wanted to tell.

My Fel Fel san and Penelope are coming back!!! We can go club!!! And i bought them things. Shh... i really hope they wont kill me for getting that. But it's nice wad...
