close to 40 minutes and Jon swam 30 laps... averaging about 1 minute plus per lap. Isn't that fabulous.. considering he's not been exercising except occassional jogging [compelled to]? while he was wishing and washing in the pool, i managed only miserable 18 laps interrupted by lazing aroudn the pool.
The pool was abnormally quiet... with less than 5 people including us. I thought i would love to swim there again thou its sides were constructed in the old style... with a little drain in the water. not till i entered the toilet. Not only was it badly lited... the poky cubicles and bathe areas were dirty and old. The ceiling was so high and dirty i could imagine particles falling onto me or worse still... the whole ceiling collapsing on me! I told the lifeguards to switch on the lights and they had the audicity to tell me they were not allowed to in the morning.
That was downright disgusting. After spending more than 10 minutes inspecting all cubicles in search of an acceptable one, i settled for one at a corner... the only saving grace was the hooks that were still intact. I had half a mind to dry myself outside before wearing my clothes and bathing at Jon's place. I rather swim at the irregular pool at his place than to put up with such unhygiene. The next time we go there, if we would, we are not using the toilet!
Bumped into M and J at Pet Symphony at Holland V... and sad to say... her dog just "kicked the bucket" [directly quoted]. Well, anyway, we had lunch at the NYDC... and i finally had my earl grey again!!! When are we goign there again huh??? Planned for table tennis in the afternoon but were too tired for anything. So we slept the afternoon away again. And when i woke, i played the piano again... That gives me one more thing to do when im over. yay!
